Dr. Rama Hijjawi
I am Dr. Rama AlHijjawi, a former professor at the University of Jordan, holding a PhD in Philosophy of Educational Foundations. Throughout my career, I have worked with global organizations such as UNRWA, the United Nations, and the National Democratic Institute (NDI), providing consultancy in education, mental health, and curriculum development.
I am also a certified trainer in Positive Psychology and self-development, holding an ICF certification from Wisdom School. Serving as a motivational speaker for over 2.5 million followers on social media is an honor.
My decision to join the Asala community stems from my deep belief that culture and heritage are the foundation of identity. Through Asala, I aim to share my passion for authentic Arab arts, such as classical singing and the design and training of traditional Dabke dances. I believe these arts are not just a form of expression but a bridge that connects the past with the present. My goal is to be part of a community that celebrates Arab heritage and values and to contribute to spreading cultural awareness and strengthening our identity.
